A Global Day of Action was promoted for the 20th of March 2004, with
the intent of bringing out the many people opposed to war in Iraq and
elsewhere. While not as large as the pre-Iraq-war demonstrations,
the major cities saw gatherings of 100 thousand or more peaceful
marchers. The prediction made was the same as that for the February
demo. The trend was modestly negative, especially after about noon,
opposite to the standard prediction.
